Prayer at St Mary’s

Prayer is the essential foundation to all we do at St Mary’s. We have a number of ways to engage in the corporate prayer life of the church.

St Mary's Prayer Meetings

We now have in-person prayer meetings every week at different times and locations each week. For more information please do get in touch or sign up to the newsletter.

Parish Prayer Meeting

We are have a Zoom Prayer Meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7.45pm. This meeting will take place over Zoom. To join, click here. Passcode: 0000. Join members of the parish to pray; all welcome.

Facebook Morning Prayer

Morning Prayer is streamed every day except Wednesday and Sunday at 9.30 on the St Mary's Facebook page. All are welcome, and if you feel comfortable it is always good to leave a comment saying hello.  We do pause it during some school holidays.

Prayer Requests

Sometimes we are faced with situations which are unexpected and concerning and we would value knowing that a small group of people will commit to praying for us, quickly and discretely. There are a number of folk on the prayer team who will do just that.  If you would like the prayer team to pray for you, please email prayerrequests@stmaryschurchbse.org 

Prayer Triplets

Are you interested in forming a prayer triplet? This is where you are able to forge links either in person or over zoom or text. Here, you and two others commit to pray for each other or just pray for what’s on your heart. Please let us know using the email address above. Names will be collated and people who are interested put in touch with each other. In your email, perhaps you would also mention your preferred method of contact.
