In 2020, 2021 and 2022 we were rewarded with a special certificate of merit by “Bury in Bloom”.

The garden mainly consists of a long strip down Honey Hill, which we try to keep going throughout the year with as much colour as possible. There is a more private area at the bottom with some grass and a bench.

We have a small insect hotel, a bird-feeder and bird-boxes to encourage the local wild-life.

Thanks to the council there is a  “Hotbin” compost bin on loan and we have been busy trying to improve the soil with our home-made compost!

This year we also did some restoration on the North side of the church, uncovering some flagstones overgrown with grass.

We are committed to reducing waste and our plants are often used within services and for decorating the church building.

We love our garden!

You are welcome to visit our garden at any time, the gate is always open.

The gardening team are all volunteers, whose stated aim is “to make things look cared-for”.
