Singing Tots

Tuesdays in term time from 9:30 - 10:30am at St Mary’s. Songs, stories and refreshments for ages 0 - 3 years.

Concert by St Edmundsbury Male Voice Choir with Orpheus Male Voice Choir

Saturday 23 November, 7pm at St Mary’s Church. Concert in aid of St Nicholas Hospice.

Parish Memorial Service

Sunday 24 November, 3pm at St Peter’s Church, Hospital Rd, BSE, Ip33 3JT

This is a service when we remember, by name, those known to us who have died. There is an opportunity to light a candle as a sign both of remembrance and of the light of Christ. The service is open to all and will be followed by light refreshments.

Road to Christmas

Saturday 30 November, 10 am - 3pm in St Mary’s.

An interactive Christmas story for families and children. Interactive tours every 20 minutes appropriate for all ages. Children must be accompanied.

St Mary’s Christmas Market

Saturday 7 December, 10am - 2:30pm.

Bric-a-brac, crafts and music, model railway, refreshments and more.

Royal Anglian Regiment Carol Service

Saturday 7 December, 5:30pm at St Mary’s Church, with the Royal Anglian Regiment Band. A lovely family service featuring well-known Christmas carols and readings. All welcome. Festive refreshments and mulled wine will be served after the service. No tickets required and there is no charge for attendance. A retiring collection will be taken for the regimental charity.

Light up a Life Service

Sunday 8 December, 4pm at St Mary’s, with St Nicholas Hospice Care.

Remember and celebrate the special people in our lives who have died. You are invited, should you wish, to have the names of your loved ones read out; you can do this by visiting stnicholashospice.org.uk/lightupalife

Carols from Cambridge

Tuesday 10 December, 1:10 - 2pm at St Mary’s Church.

Festive favourites conducted by Sarah MacDonald. Our ever-popular annual carol concert set in the beautiful surroundings of St Mary’s Church. Enjoy seasonal favourites to get you in the festive mood, sung by the euphonious voices of the choristers of the Selwyn College Chapel Choir.

Crib Service

Christmas Eve, 4pm in St Mary’s, with a special appearance by Amy the Donkey. Come dressed as a shepherd, angel, king, or one of the stable animals. If you don’t have a costume, don’t worry! Costumes available for all.
