St Mary’s Hire

St Mary’s Church is a remarkable venue for concerts and other public events. The church can seat an audience of 500.

£350 for use of the church for one session of up to four hours.

£250 for use of the church for additional sessions of up to four hours each.

A 50% discount may be applied on request where the proceeds are used entirely for charitable purposes.

Additional charges are not subject to discount.

£100 for the use of staging or if pews need moving to increase performance area.

£40 for use of organ or grand piano.

Organist’s fee - £65 (plus additional charges for any rehearsal time).

Verger’s fee (payable for the entire period of your booking) - £30 plus £13 per hour.

Sound desk operator / second verger’s fee - £30 plus £13 per hour.
